CAUSE AND EFFECT

Cause is the motive, drive, or action that produces a reaction. Cause is the cause that will cause an effect. Meanwhile, effect is a condition, event, or result of one/some causes. For example, "The car crashed into the tree because the driver was texting while driving."

The function of cause and effect is to explain the relationship between two interrelated events, where one event (cause) causes the other (effect).
